Isabel and Kendra

As of this last Friday, Isabel and Kendra no longer live with us out here at POPPYS House. It was sad to see them leave, but they were able to head back to family - a place where she wanted to go.

Education: She is starting her 2nd year of high school
Future Goals: She wants to be a journalist.
Extra: She has a daughter, Kendra, and enjoys playing volleyball, soccer, and dancing. Isabel is a fairly playful girl who loves music. If she could, she would have the radio on 24/7. Isabel is very athletic and an enthusiastic participant of Aaron’s obnoxious chants.

Age: 1 (Birthday: December 11)
Favorite Food: Her thumb...and anything but vegetables.
Favorite Drink: Soda
Education: Too young, but she recently learned how to walk.
Future Goals: Always close to her mother.
Extra: Kendra just recently learned how to walk, and has also learned how to give a nice, solid, high 5. We also just upgraded her into her very own high chair. She likes being next to her mother, and if you try and separate them, she screams. It makes study hall interesting at times. She is a beautiful, playful girl, who is growing up rapidly.

Ana Victoria

Age: 12 (Birthday: November 6)
Favorite Food: Chicken, rice, and French fries.
Favorite Drink: Coca cola
Education: 4th grade
Future Goals: She would like to be a nurse.
Extra: She loves playing volleyball, soccer, and gymnastics. Ana is a social butterfly who is always hanging out with someone. She loves playing, and is working on studying.

Veronica

Age: 18 (Birthday: April 5)
Favorite Food: Chicken and Rice
Favorite Drink: Coca Cola
Education: 3rd year of high school
Future Goals: She wants to be a tourist guide.
Extra: Her favorite sport is volleyball, but she seems to always have a mango in her hand. She is an avid pathfinder member, and loves singing for church.

Milagros

Age: 13 (Birthday: October 22)
Favorite Food: Chicken and Rice
Favorite Drink: Coca Cola
Education: 6th grade
Future Goals: She wants to be a police woman
Extra: She loves playing volleyball and soccer. She is naturally graceful and is very motherly with the little kids. Her quite, playful attitude allows for a lot of laughs and good humor.

Ermelinda and Marcos

Age: 15 (Birthday: December 11)
Favorite Food: Chicken, fried rice, and vegetables in a stir-fry. She also likes spaghetti noodles and red sauce all mixed together.
Favorite Drink: Maiz morado (A drink made out of black corn)
Education: 3rd year of high school
Future Goals: She wants to be an accountant.
Extra: She has a son, Marcos, age 2, and loves studying, playing volleyball and scoring goals in soccer. She also loves being involved with Pathfinders, and enjoys math.

Age: 2 (Birthday: December 26)
Favorite Food: Spaghetti and rice
Favorite Drink: Inca Kola
Education: Almost ready, but not quite.Future Goals: Right now, anything that involves big trucks.
Extra: Marcos is the toughest kid around. He loves climbing places he shouldn’t, and then falling. This kid has more scrapes and bruises than anyone around, and seldom cries. He loves playing with his Tonka truck as well.

Nelcy and Vanessa - Sisters

Age: 12 (Birthday: March 20)

Education: 1st year of high school
Future Goals: She wants to be a lawyer
Extra: She likes to swim, play volley ball and play soccer. She always wants to give a hug. She has recently gotten involved in drawing, and has become a very good artist. She has just crossed that hill where boys are very interesting. She is a very energetic and full of laughs.

Vanessa
Age: 10 (Birthday: March 27)
Favorite Food: Chicken and Rice
Favorite Drink: Inca Kola
Education: 4th grade
Future Goals: She wants to be a nurse
Extra: She likes soccer and enjoys school. She is our littlest girl, who always likes to laugh. Vanessa also likes to catch grasshoppers for Lisa and Casey’s monkeys. She is a quick learner who excels in math. She is a comical, quick-witted, perfectionist. Vanessa is always looking for a good time.

Jessica

Age: 14 (Birthday: June 6)
Favorite Food: A chicken, french fry, and vegetable stir-fry.
Favorite Drink: Strawberry yogurt
Education: 2nd year of high school
Future Goals: She wants to be a reporter, news correspondent or anchor.
Extra: She is shy and soft-spoken, but a very hard worker. She is a very sweet girl who loves to laugh, draw and pick fruit from our trees. She is also an excellent forward in soccer—one of our star players.
